A.C. is an MC living in NorthWest London, who started mcing to Drum n Bass with residencies at Mass, Bugbar, Dogstar and the Fridge Bar in Brixton in the early 2000s. AC also makes hiphop and grime, and sold over 50,000 copies of his cds on the streets of the UK. AC came back to Drum n Bass in 2010 and won a residency at Random Concept, after entering the RC Academy competition. He has also played out at DnB raves like Sticky, BPM, Overload, Next Hype,  Innovation in the Sun, Innovation in the Dam, Breakin Science etc.

He has had videos on MTV BASE (his video ‘Broke’ with Mentor Kolektiv got in the top 10) and Channel U/AKA (his video ‘Human Trash’ got to number 15 in the chart, and ‘Broke’ got into the top 10, while his video ‘GET ROWDY’ was video of the week) and was featured rapping on the dvd extras of KIDULTHOOD. His music has been played on BBC RADIO 1 and 1XTRA by DJs Tim Westwood, Semtex, Ras Kwame, Bobby and Nihal (his Desi-Refix of GET ROWDY got to number 8 in the BBC ASIAN NETWORK CHART), Limelight, etc. His song ‘True Story’ received radio play by the BBC and he was invited on to chat shows on TV and radio to discuss the themes of domestic and racial abuse addressed in the song. He was then awarded a ‘True Honour Award’ by IKWRO, a charity that works with women who have been the victims of ‘Honour Based Violence’ and forced marriages.

He has toured France, Norway, Germany, Spain, Belgium and India and in Hiphop he has performed on the same bills as Common, D12, Wu Tang Clan, Capone and Noreaga, Keith Murray, Akala, Sway, Jay Sean, Klashnekoff, Skinnyman, Blak Twang, Estelle, The Outlaws, N Dubz, Chipmunk, Marques Houston, Nathan, Wretch 32, Neyo, H town etc. Recently AC has acted as a main character in a pilot for TV series ‘Bad Karma’, about 4 youths from London trying to make it in the entertainment business, toured with the Mouth Youth Theatre production of Ben Elton’s play ‘Popcorn’ (AC played Wayne, a psycopathic killer, to excellent reviews) and in the internet horror/comedy show ‘The S State’. AC appeared as a rapping Imperial Guard in the modern opera Pop’Pea in the Theatre du Chatelet in Paris in 2012, with Marc Almond and Carl Barat of the Libertines.

In 2014 AC joined the Bio Beats roster and looks forward to repping the team at raves all over the UK and globe!
